Located in the heart of the New York City Flower Market, Bill’s Flower Market, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the New York City area for over 75 years.
Starting in the 1920’s, the original “Bill” came from Greece with his three brothers and began work selling flowers in the New York wholesale flower market.
Years later the three brothers opened their own store in our current location.
The original Bill brought his three sons, Mike, Pete and George into the business in the 1940’s. Through out the 1950’s and 1960’s the business was run by the three and saw much growth. The oldest of the three brothers, Mike, assumed control of the business and passed it on to his sons and current owners, Bill and Jim.
Bill's Flower Market, Inc. has its roots in the wholesale flower & plant business. Through the years the business has changed to meet current demand.
Our product line has varied from flowering and tropical plants, fresh cut flowers to silk flowers, trees and artificial fruits and vegetables. Currently, we offer a wide range of goods. Our outside display features wicker and bamboo baskets. Inside you will find a wide selection of glass vases, plastic containers, artificial birds & butterflies, ribbon, feathers, floral supplies, and fresh flowers.
